Xylocopa aestuansis a species of carpenter bee. These are not often available, so get one while you can!

Female Carpenter Bees (Xylocopa aestuans) from Java. Bodies are shiny black and the heads are fuzzy and mustard-yellow. The wings have a slightly metallic nature, with purple shine in the right light. They measure about 25mm tall and the wingspan is about 45mm. They remind me of bumble bees.

A1 Grade means perfect! A2 grade bees the yellow coloration is darker and harder to see.
