Vestalis luctuosa, Violet Glittering Damselfly, Real Dragonfly Vestalis luctuosa, Blue black dragonfly damselfly Indonesia

This package includes one specimen of a "Violet Glittering Damselfly", Vestalis luctuosa from Java. They can appear black in dim lighting, but once exposed to bright light, they really do "glitter" a deep violet color. I have tried to show that here in the photos, but it is hard to capture on film. Very beautiful in person. They measure about 3-3.5 inches across. These damselflies come spread and ready to mount. No work for you to do except open them and glue into your frame!
