You will receive A1 perfect-quality female Moth. What is really cool about these moths is that the circles that you see on their wings are actually see-through! You will receive a beautiful yellow moth! Males are a little smaller than females. I don't have photos of males up yet, coming soon!

Descriptions follow:

"Spread or wings open" means I have opened the wings for you. All you have to do is glue into your project. It takes 3-4 days to spread the butterfly. There are some moths and butterflies that I do not offer spread due to their larger size. The larger size makes it harder to ship open due to its delicate nature.

"Unmounted/Papered" means I have done nothing. The butterfly is in it's collection envelope, with its wings folded up. This is an option for people who know how to spread their own specimens.

"Wings laminated" means that the wings will be heat laminated between a thin layer of plastic. This is just the wings!

Please message me if you have any questions about your order!

Want to learn how? I sell a Butterfly Spreading Kit in my shop!

To glue into your project (for example, into a shadowbox frame), just use some Elmer's school glue, or whatever you have lying around. No special tools required. Tweezers for handling might make the job easier.

Here's a link to my Butterfly/Moth Spreading Kit, if you'd like to learn how to open the specimens yourself; it comes with all the tools you need plus 4-8 practice butterflies:

My butterflies and moths come from farmed sources and are not taken from the wild. I cannot guarantee intact antennae on spread specimens, as they are just too fragile. A simple fix to a broken antennae is clear nail polish or super glue.
