Fiery Jewel Beetle, Belionota sumptuosa Real beetle, Entomology, Insect art, Beetle Specimen

This package includes one specimen of the "Tricolor Metallic Wood-boring Beetle", or "Fiery Jewel Beetle", species Belionota sumptuosa, from Indonesia. They measure about 25mm tall, which is just about an inch. I measure the bodies only, not the antennae or legs.

This beetle has beautiful metallic coloration, which changes from pinkish-orange to gold to emerald green.

Not a huge beetle for this family, but they pack a nice colorful punch. These are A Quality, which means that everything should be in the package and intact. Ready to open up and glue into your project.
